LPLAN (LOW POWER LOCAL AREA NETWORK)

LPLAN, or LOW POWER LOCAL AREA NETWORK, devices utilize the same unlicensed frequency band as LPWAN devices do. Compared with other wireless communication transmitted protocol such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LPLAN is able to extend the transmitted ranged in private network or local network. ESMT's proprietary TrExt (Transmission Range extendable) wireless communication protocol provides the flexibility of extending the transmission range to several kilometers to cover a wider variety of use cases and targets on local or small range's applicable scenarios. Also, it's able to extend local domain to an external network through gateways.


The design of TrExt is applicable for the local area or small scale range and flexibly deploying of edge devices , repeaters and gateways programmed communicated protocol depending on various scenarios.
